AI-Ready Data Centers: GPU Density and Liquid Cooling

We record 113 capability facts for data centers in 5 markets: the maximum rack density each operator states, the liquid cooling it offers, its AI or GPU claims, carrier neutrality, certifications and stated PUE. Every value is the operator's own claim with a link and a date.

What is in the ai-ready capabilities dataset?

An AI-ready data center is a facility whose operator states it can host GPU clusters: high power per rack, usually 30 kW and above, liquid or rear-door cooling, and the power and floor loading to support them.

Buyers of AI capacity ask the same questions in every market: who offers 50 or 100 kW per rack, who has direct-to-chip cooling, who is carrier neutral. The answers are spread across hundreds of datasheets. We put them in one table, as stated, with dates.

Why you can rely on it

  1. Primary sources first. We never copy data center directories, research publishers or press-release wires. This dataset is built from:
    • Operator facility pages and datasheets
    • Operator filings and investor materials
    • Public certification registries
    • Government data center registers
  2. The words and the date. Each value is stored with the source link, the exact sentence it comes from and the date it was true.
  3. A second, independent check. Every value is checked again against its source before it is stored. Values that cannot be confirmed are dropped.
  4. History, not overwrites. A new value is a new record, so changes in dates, MW and status stay visible.
  5. Our estimates are labelled. Anything we compute, such as a value per MW, is marked derived or DC Market Insights estimate.

Frequently asked questions

What makes a data center AI-ready?

Power and cooling per rack. GPU servers draw far more than standard racks, so AI-ready halls offer high kW per rack and liquid or rear-door cooling. We record what each operator states, with the date.

Which data centers offer liquid cooling?

Our capability table lists every facility whose operator states direct-to-chip, immersion or rear-door cooling, in 5 markets so far. Ask for the list for your market.

Do you rate or certify data centers?

No. We record the operator's own claims and public certifications, with sources, so you can compare like with like.

Can you shortlist sites for our GPU requirement?

Yes. Send the market, rack count, kW per rack and timing. We return the matching facilities with every stated capability and its source.
